Cowboy Country Church touches lives with the Gospel

2012 was a remarkable year for Cowboy Country Church.   They celebrated their first anniversary on April 15, 2012.  But the highlight for last year was baptism of  13 new believers by Pastor Dan Biedenbender and an increase in  membership by a total of 17.   High attendance reached 60 last year.

Outreach events are an important part of the life of this young church.  For example, last June, they leased additional land for an arena next to the church and established a Saddle Club.   Arena activities take place prior to Sunday church services when weather permits. The first annual Cowboy Country Church Family Rodeo was held at the Rodeo Arena at Onaga on September 8th with well over 300 entries and over 20 sponsors.  In May, church members held a day long Memorial Day Trail Ride with supper and entertainment. They also participated in the Westmoreland Oregon Trail BBQ Parade,  Wamego July 4th Parade and  Pottawatomie County Fair Parade in Onaga. Cowboy Country Jubilees are held the first Saturday evening of each month with as many as 60 to 100 people in attendance.

Discipleship is also important at Cowboy Country Church. Bible Breaker Time is every Thursday  for the “New Life in Christ” study.  Bible Round-Up for all ages is each Sunday evening prior to church service.

This past year a web site was established for the church.  Checkout Cowboy Country Church at  www.cowboycountrychurch.org
