On a Sunday, August morning in Burlington Chad Chambers throws on his blue jeans, cowboy boots and hat, gathers up his borrowed animal traps and heads out the door. He fills his portable horse trough with water and heads to the arena. From there he does what you would expect any normal person to do…. spending the next two hours in worship with the 80 people who compose the regional rodeo church Chad is planting among one of the many youth rodeo Associations in North Central/North Eastern Kansas.
This is just another typical Sunday for Chad and his family, as they travel nearly every weekend to rodeo events, ministering to participants and their families in a variety of ways. Over his first full season of ministry with this Rodeo Association, Chad has seen much Spiritual fruit come as a result of God’s work through him, which culminated with the Baptism of 4 people at the finals held in Burlington August 16-18!
In addition to ministry occurring on the weekends at Rodeo’s, God has also been using Chad to catalyze places of light that are springing up that are beginning to meet during the week and also on the weekends the Rodeo isn’t competing.
